WARNER ROBINS -- Authorities have arrested six people, including a minor, in connection with more than 100 entering auto cases throughout Houston County.
A seventh person, Tommell Dean, 21, is currently being sought by authorities, according to a Houston County sheriff’s news release. He was still at-large late Friday afternoon, Houston County sheriff’s Lt. Dave Carrick said.
The sheriff’s office said those charged with entering auto to commit a theft were Justin Ali, 20, Marlon Washington, 20, Ja’Corey English, 21, Ronnie Trice, 18, and Tyrone Caruthers, 18, and a minor, who was not named.
The entering auto incidents spanned the county for the past several weeks. The arrests follow a joint investigation by Warner Robins police and the Houston County Sheriff’s Office.
Carrick declined to say what led investigators to connect the sporadic vehicle break-ins at various locations and times.
He credited the arrests to “a lot of conversations, videos and a lot of hard work.”
