WARNER ROBINS -- A man walking with a woman through the Wellston Trail parking lot after the park was closed was charged with methamphetamine possession with intent to distribute.
Benjamin Anthony Weber, 28, and Kami Fordham, 23, both of Warner Robins, were questioned after Warner Robins patrol officers saw them in the parking lot off Corder Road about 20 minutes before 4 a.m. Monday, according to a Warner Robins police incident report.
Weber and Fordham told police they were just out walking, according to the report.
Weber had an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support in Houston County, and Fordham had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in Henry County, the report said.
Police found 3.2 grams of methamphetamine inside a container in Weber’s pocket, and he also has 14 jeweler bags on him, the report stated.
Weber was being held without bond Tuesday in the Houston County jail.
