Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 22-year-old man Tuesday on allegations that he shot another man in the face.
Martinez Collins is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to an indictment filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
Collins allegedly shot Andrew Burney, then 32, on Triple Hill Drive about 2:30 a.m. Jan. 17, 2013. He also is accused of shooting into a building where a woman was inside.
Collins previously had been convicted of robbery by force, according to the document.
