Macon man indicted in robbery, shooting

A 21-year-old Macon man was indicted Tuesday on allegations he shot a man in the stomach last September and stole his car. Darin Michael Batts, of Brookdale Avenue, is charged with armed robbery, hijacking a motor vehicle, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the indictment, filed in Bibb County Superior Court.
