Bibb County grand jurors indicted a 45-year-old Macon man Tuesday on allegations he stabbed another man multiple times in the upper torso at a party in June.
Roderick Jerome Solomon, of Riverside Drive, is charged with aggravated assault, according to an indictment filed Tuesday in Bibb County Superior Court.
Solomon allegedly stabbed Robert Quick, of Pringle Street, on June 2 at a party in the 1100 block of Eastview Avenue in east Macon. Quick, then 26, told police several people were drinking and he spoke up to defend girls against men pushing them around. A man charged at him and reached for something in his back pocket, according to a police report.
The confrontation then continued outside, according to the report.
