Macon police are investigating a hit-and-run incident that took place Friday morning on Charter Boulevard, according to a police report.
The report stated the victim, Laura Harris, told officers she was followed by a white or silver vehicle driven by a woman in her mid-20s when she was taking her daughter to school. Harris stopped her vehicle on Charter Boulevard to let the other car pass, but the second car didn’t pass. Harris got out of the vehicle to confront the other driver, who yelled and cussed at her, the report said.
When Harris turned to get back into her car, the other driver allegedly hit her with her vehicle and then sped off. Harris was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia for treatment of cuts and scrapes, and a wound to her head.
