Bibb County deputies arrested a 16-year-old male teenager on multiple charges after he was involved in a wreck and grew belligerent with deputies, according to a sheriff’s report.
The teenager was charged with DUI, felony obstruction of a peace officer, criminal damage to government property, reckless driving and possession of alcohol by a minor after he was involved in a traffic accident Thursday morning.
According to the report released Tuesday, deputies responded to a wreck and overturned car at the Wesleyan Drive and Forest Hill Road intersection.
When questioned, the teen allegedly swore at the deputy and attempted to punch him. The deputy then placed the teenager in handcuffs. While in the patrol car, the teen allegedly tried to contact someone on his cell phone. When the deputy took away the phone, the teen attempted to kick out the rear window, damaging it, the report said.
Deputies warned the teenager that he would be Tased.
