A Crawford County man is accused of robbing a Byron convenience store Sunday afternoon, police said.
Bobby Fout, 20, was charged with armed robbery in the 2:30 p.m. incident at the Grub & Gas at 210 Moseley Road, Byron police detective Bryan Hunter said.
Fout is accused of entering the convenience store and demanding money from the clerk, Hunter said. Fout had something wrapped up in a T-shirt, implying that he had a weapon, Hunter said.
The clerk was not harmed, and no customers were inside the store at the time, Hunter said.

Fout fled in a black Toyota Solara, Hunter said. Fout was arrested early Monday morning at a Centerville residence without incident, Hunter said.
Fout was being held Monday at the Peach County jail, Hunter said.
