The owner of Lucky 7 Lottery convenience store at 3457 Pio Nono Ave. was robbed at gunpoint at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday while cleaning up water damage at the store, according to Macon police.
The owner told officers a man dressed in black with a black shirt wrapped around his face walked in the door with a gun and demanded money, according to a police report.
The owner pulled cash from his pocket and threw it at the gunman, who then ran out the door. The gunman was last seen running behind the building and headed west, according to the report.
A woman who was at the store during the robbery ran to the restroom when the owner threw the cash at the gunman, according to police.
