A Pizza Hut delivery worker was robbed about 1:10 p.m. Sunday while delivering to the 4300 block of West Highland Drive, according to Macon police.
The 30-year-old deliveryman told police he knocked on the door where the pizza was scheduled for delivery, but no one answered. He called the contact number on the order, and a person came to the door wearing all black and carrying a handgun, according to the report.
The gunman demanded money and the delivery worker’s keys. A second man approached the deliveryman from behind, according to police.
The deliveryman handed over his wallet and keys. The men grabbed the pizza and ran toward a wooded area, according to the report.
