After reading in The Telegraph about a man who claimed to be a Macon police officer, a second person has filed a police report saying the man taught classes and sold “police grade Mace,” according to Macon police.
An employee of IV Care Options, 151 College St., filed the report Thursday and said a person who identified himself as Jason Powell of the National Crime Prevention Task Force conducted a free seminar June 22 and sold mace to seven people. The mace has not been delivered, according to a police report.
Powell is not employed by the police department, police said.
