A 28-year-old Macon man was shot in the abdomen late Tuesday night in the 100 block of Blossom Avenue, according to Macon police.
A Blossom Avenue woman told police she was at home at about 11:56 p.m. when a man started banging on her door and said he needed help, according to a police report. She heard gunshots before she could open the door. She then saw Antonio Rouse, of Mercer University Drive, had been shot in the abdomen, according to the report.A witness said Rouse had run to the house from the MM Food Mart, 2760 Montpelier Ave. Police went to the business to ask questions, but no one knew what happened, according to police.
Rouse was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
