A man suspected of a string of beer thefts at Bibb County Krogers has struck again, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
Bibb County Sheriff’s Lt. George Meadows said managers at Kroger stores on Tom Hill Sr. Boulevard and Forsyth Road reported beer thefts July 3. Meadows said the suspect, a man in his mid-40s to early 50s with short, graying hair, stole three cases of Bud Lite and four cases of Budweiser beer from a Kroger in Bibb County at about 8:30 p.m. Meadows said he thought the Kroger was the Forsyth Road store, but he was unsure.
The suspect is linked to previous thefts and attempted thefts at Krogers on Hartley Bridge and Zebulon roads. Meadows said the suspect was previously seen driving a light gray Chevrolet Tahoe, but was last seen leaving in a dark green or black minivan.
