A Warner Robins man is accused of peering through the bedroom window of a 14-year-old girl about 2 a.m. Monday, police said.
Cody B. Cobble, 18, was charged under the state’s “peeping Tom” law, a misdemeanor, said Houston County sheriff’s Capt. Robert Clark.
Cobble, who is free on a $3,100 bond, also was charged with loitering, according to jail records.
Cobble was arrested after he was held at knifepoint by the girl’s father until a sheriff’s deputy arrived, Clark said.
The girl saw someone looking into her bedroom and called for her father, who found the man outside her window in the bushes, Clark said. The man ran, but the father chased him around the home and caught him near the driveway.
Cobble told the sheriff’s deputy that he had been hiding in the bushes from two males who had beat him up in the past, Clark said.
