Bibb County sheriff’s investigators are looking for a young man who fired shots shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday at the East Macon Park on Ocmulgee East Boulevard. No one was injured in the shooting, according to a news release from the sheriff’s office.
The suspect was involved in an altercation with another male, whose identity is unknown. As the suspect left the scene in his car, he fired several shots from a .40-caliber pistol, collided with an unoccupied green sport utility vehicle and drove away.
The suspect is a black male in his early 20s with short hair. He may use the nickname “Little B.” He drove a white compact car with a spoiler on the trunk and a Florida license plate. The vehicle probably has damage on the passenger-side front fender area and may exhibit green paint from the collision in the parking lot. The passenger-side mirror is missing as well.
