Macon Police Department investigators found auto parts at the scene of a fatal hit-and-run collision that may help them find the driver responsible for the death.
James Lee Leaks, 57, was struck and killed about 1 a.m. Friday while he was walking across Houston Avenue near Quinlan Drive.
Debris found at the scene of the collision came from a Honda Accord, apparently from the model years 1998-2002, according to a news release from Macon police.
Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the car and its driver.

The color of the car is unknown, but it has damage to its front end and front undercarriage.
