Macon police arrested a 17-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend in the chest early Sunday morning.
According to a police report, officers arrested Jalisa Demps, 17, of Bailey Avenue, and charged her with aggravated assault.
Officers responded to a call at that location and found the victim, Kelvin Goolsby, who told officers that Demps stabbed him once, the report stated.
Police made contact with the suspect’s mother and found a silver and black knife at the residence. The mother told investigators there was a history of violence between Demps and Goolsby.

Goolsby told officers he didn’t want to prosecute, and Demps was returned to the custody of her mother.
