The victim of a shooting at a Houston County residence has been identified.
Kenneth E. Willis, 21, of Warner Robins, was shot once in the stomach with a handgun, according to Houston County sheriff’s Sgt. Ronnie Harlowe and a Houston County Sheriff’s Office news release.
Rich Relaford, 27, was charged with aggravated assault and theft by receiving stolen property in the 4:15 p.m. shooting Wednesday at 206 Wrasling Way, said Harlowe.
Willis, who was taken by ambulance to The Medical Center of Central Georgia, was in stable condition, according to the release.

Relaford told police he was playing with a handgun and that it discharged accidentally, Harlowe said.The gun turned out to have been taken in a car break-in Tuesday, Harlowe said.
