Several gunshots were fired at two women and two children Sunday night as they left a Chevron service station at 815 Shurling Drive about 9:15 p.m., Macon police said.
One of the women recognized a man in the store as someone who broke into her house. An argument and altercation ensued, according to a Macon police report.
As the women drove off, they heard four to five gunshots and saw the man and his friend running down Coleman Lane in the direction of Fort Hill Street, according to the report.
No one was hurt. Police later found five .45-caliber shell casings in the area, according to the report.
