Macon police are looking into a fight that led to a stabbing Sunday night on Grosso Avenue.
The police report stated that police met with the victim, who was cut on his right shoulder and left side of his neck. The victim told police he had gone to a bootleg house to buy beer when David Goolsby, 47, of Bonnie Avenue, allegedly started to pick a fight, during which Goolsby allegedly cut him with a knife or box cutter.
The victim told police he grabbed a stick and started to attack Goolsby until Goolsby’s sisters pulled the victim away from him.
Goolsby was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and a parole violation.
