Macon police arrested an 18-year-old Macon man and charged him with pointing a gun at another person and obstruction.
According to a police report, the victim was walking on Brookdale Avenue when Deon Banks, 18, approached him and allegedly threatened him.
When the victim pulled out his cell phone to call police, Banks allegedly drew out a handgun and pointed it at the victim, threatening him.
Banks left and went into a nearby house.
The victim called police, who made contact with Banks. Banks ran back inside of his house, then returned with his mother to talk with officers.
He was arrested and taken to the Bibb County jail.
