Three people face multiple burglary charges after a surveillance video linked them to crimes in three counties.
The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office obtained video of the Feb. 8 break-in at the Kuntry Mart in Greston where $3,800 worth of merchandise, cash and lottery tickets were taken, said Capt. Tony Winborn, public information officer for the sheriff’s office.
Deputies arrested Demetrius Delfonic Sims, 39, of Bleckley County, Leonard Earl Mitchell Sr., 41, of Dublin, and Comminy Crawford, 30, of Cochran, Winborn said.
The trio also is accused of recent break-ins at Shorty’s Car Lot in Eastman, two Laurens County burglaries at the County Line Liquor Store in Cadwell and the Dollar General in Rentz as well as the break-in at the Sand Hill Grocery in Bleckley County, Winborn said.
Investigators from Dodge, Laurens and Bleckley counties and Eastman police are working on the case.
