Macon police and fire officials are investigating an arson that took place late Saturday night at a local apartment office, a report said.
According to the report, someone poured flammable material on a flower bed in front of the main office at Green Meadow Apartments on Log Cabin Drive and set it on fire, damaging the vinyl siding on one side of the building.
The apartment manager told investigators she recently evicted several people and had six derelict cars towed from the property.
