Macon police arrested a man Friday and charged him with possession of marijuana, public intoxication and disorderly conduct after officers were called to Whiskey River to break up a fight among a group of men and the club’s bouncers, a report stated.
According to the report, police arrived at about 2:20 a.m. to break up a fight, using pepper spray. As one officer escorted Earlondez Donta Bond, 26, of Crimson Drive, away from the crowd, a second officer noticed Bond toss a couple of small bags into a bush.
The officer recovered the bags and found marijuana inside. Bond was arrested and taken to jail.
