A 55-year-old Macon man has been issued a citation on charges he unlawfully fired guns inside the Macon city limit Tuesday while allegedly waiting on an ambulance, according to Macon police.
Police officers responded to the 1800 block of Swan Drive at about 1:45 p.m. Monday in reference to shots being fired, according to a police report.
Isaiah Morgan, of Swan Drive, told officers he is a diabetic and called 911 for help. He said he was shooting guns because the ambulance didn’t come fast enough, according to the report.
A woman living in the 1700 block of Wren Avenue told officers her apartment was hit by a stray bullet, but it wasn’t damaged. She said she didn’t want to press charges, according to the report.

Morgan was taken to the hospital for treatment of low blood sugar, according to the police.MAN
