Macon police are investigating a shooting that took place early Saturday morning, a report said.
According to the report, police responded to a call about 1:15 a.m. on Hall Street. A man inside the residence had been shot in the neck. A woman, who was a witness, told police she saw a man known as “Smitty” pointing a silver gun at the victim while she and the victim were in bed.
The woman told police that she saw two other men, “Sam” and “Taylor,” who were in the living room when “Smitty” shot the victim. The woman didn’t know the real names of the men, nor did she know the reason why the victim was shot.
The victim was taken to The Medical Center of Central Georgia.
