A Crawford County jail inmate escaped from custody Tuesday night, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office.
David Maynard Morris Jr., 36, is not considered to be dangerous, according to a news release.
At the time of his escape, Morris was serving a 90 day sentence for a probation violation on the original charge of possession of methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies discovered he was missing about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. The sheriff’s office is still investigating how Morris escaped.
