WARNER ROBINS — A Warner Robins man is accused of riding his bicycle naked around midnight Thursday in front of a 24-hour fitness center in Warner Robins that has windows at the front of the building, police said.
Pedro La Ra Martinez, 32, of Warner Robins, was charged with indecent exposure by the Houston County Sheriff’s Office. Martinez was free on a $600 bond, said sheriff’s Maj. Charles Holt.
According to a sheriff’s incident report, a Houston County sheriff’s deputy heard a 911 radio dispatch of a lookout for a white male riding naked in the area of Oxygen Fitness Center, 1291 S. Houston Lake Road.
The deputy spotted a clothed man riding a bicycle through the parking lot of Fillers gas station at the corner of South Houston Lake Road and Ga. 96. When the man saw the deputy, he began to peddle faster and headed north toward Wendy’s restaurant, the report said. The deputy activated blue lights, the man stopped and he was initially taken into investigative custody by the deputy.
A witness told the deputy that the man was the same man he’d witnessed riding around naked in front of the fitness center, the report said. The witness watched the man put his clothes back on in the parking lot of the Nissan dealership, which is about a block west of the gym, the report said.
