Bibb County law enforcement officials found more than 100 marijuana plants in east Bibb County, the sheriff’s office announced Monday.
The value of the drugs found was estimated to be between $250,000 and $300,000, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Deputies and investigators with the sheriff’s narcotics and vice unit arrested 54-year-old Leon Burroughs, 3352 Riggins Mill Road, and charged him with manufacturing marijuana and with violating probation.
Burroughs is being held in the county jail without bond.
The case still is being investigated, and more arrests are pending, according to the sheriff’s office.
