The Macon Police are hosting a business armed robbery and crime prevention seminar today from noon-1 p.m. and from 6-7 p.m. at the police training facility, 1166 Jackson St.
The seminar was initially scheduled for March 5, but is being held again because of poor attendance.
Police said the seminar has been held annually for four years, but this is the first year an armed robbery emphasis has been added.
Major Tonnie Williams said officers have handed out flyers to businesses and neighborhood watch programs in preparation for the seminar.
Never miss a local story.
