Olivia McMillan, a 17-year-old from Warner Robins, was crowned the winner of Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition on Saturday night in Orlando, Florida.
The senior from Northside High School represented Georgia in the competitions after being named Miss Georgia's Outstanding Teen in Columbus in June.
Tuesday in Orlando, McMillan was the preliminary talent winner for her vocal performance of “Nessun Dorma,” the classic aria made famous by Pavarotti.
McMillan, who was Miss Northside High School 2012 and is a former Miss Teen Dogwood, had never participated in a Miss Georgia system preliminary until she entered and won the Miss Warner Robins title last summer.
McMillan is involved in the drama department at Northside High School, where she is also an Eagle Ambassador and a member of Senior Executive. She attended the Robins Youth Leadership Program last year.
