A special-called Warner Robins meeting to discuss a Commercial Circle business’s overdue rent has been rescheduled for next week, according to a notice sent late Friday.
According to the notice, the Redevelopment Agency board will meet Oct. 11 at 9:30 a.m., which is the board’s regularly scheduled meeting, instead of Monday.
No agenda was issued for the special-called meeting that would have been held Monday morning. However, Redevelopment Agency board director Gary Lee said last week the board was to discuss an outstanding rent balance for Flamingo Follies owner Gena DeBoe. Records obtained by The Telegraph on Friday showed DeBoe owes at least $3,850 in back rent.
Her last $550 monthly rent payment was made in February, according to the records. Councilman Mike Daley said Monday, when he arrived for the canceled meeting, that he turned the matter over to Lee when City Council was removed from the RDA board in April. Daley was the chairman before the board reformation.
