WARNER ROBINS — Gov. Sonny Perdue and the OneGeorgia Authority formally approved Monday a $598,640 grant for the Little League Southeastern regional headquarters project in Warner Robins, according to a news release.
The EDGE grant funds were part of the original incentive package offered to Little League Baseball Inc. during the recruitment period, said Morgan Law, executive director of the Houston County Development Authority.
The total cost of the project is $5.5 million.
Construction of the administration building, fields and stadium continues on schedule, said Jay Flesher, the project’s manager.

Little League is looking to move into the administration building about Jan. 15, and the stadium is planned to be turned over to Little League on April 15, Flesher said.
The facility is located on Snellgrove Drive, off of Cohen Walker Drive.
