An aircraft will be moved from the Robins Air Force Base flight line to the Museum of Aviation on Friday beginning at 9:30 a.m., according to a release from the museum.
Police will block traffic on Ga. 247 South as needed, according to Bob Dubiel, director of marketing for the museum. The move is expected to take about 45 minutes.
The plane is a T-33 with a U.S. Air Force Academy paint scheme. It will be towed from the Aero Club onto Ga. 247, travel under the Russell Parkway bridge and enter the museum at the Russell Parkway gate near Robins Gate 14.
