PERRY — The Georgia Wildlife Federation Buckarama will take place today through Sunday at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in Perry.
The show is expected to draw about 15,000 people, according to Michele Treptow, director of communications at the fairgrounds. The highlights include a BB and archery range for children, hunting and outdoor gear vendors, animal demonstrations and daily seminars highlighting hunting and safety techniques. Enrollment for the hunter safety course is limited to the first 100 people.
Show hours are 1 to 7 p.m. today, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $8 for adults, $5 seniors, $12 for a multiple day pass and free for children 12 and under.
