PERRY — The resurfacing of about four miles of Ga. 11 Business in Perry was among the second round of $76.5 million in federal stimulus program contracts announced Thursday by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The $844,982 project was awarded to Georgia Asphalt Inc., of Juliette, according to a state DOT news release.
The project was funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, the release said. All the projects are funded fully by the federal government.
The work is expected to begin in September.
