WARNER ROBINS — A fire that claimed the life of a Houston County man at his home Thursday has been ruled accidental, police said.
Samson Wright, 62, of 217 Wrasling Way, may have had a seizure based on his medical condition that caused him to crash his car as he was pulling into his garage, Houston County sheriff’s Capt. Robert Clark said Friday.
The autopsy found Wright died from smoke inhalation, Clark said. Wright was returning from a nearby store, the investigator said.
When firefighters arrived, the garage was fully engulfed in flames and the garage door was opening and closing, Houston County fire public information officer Danny Evans said. The fire call came in at 11:10 a.m.
