Skip Casey Korson was a passionate journalist. She loved art, traveling, theater and music, even in her early 80s. Alzheimer’s disease, though, “robbed her of everything she loved,” her daughter Emily Bowden said. Bowden, who used to be a pharmaceutical representative, now works for the Alzheimer’s Association. A Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Saturday in Perry is part of a fundraiser to help support the association, which provides free support and services to families affected by the disease.
