The Nancy Hanks Special, pulled by a steam locomotive, will be making two runs from Macon to Tennille, in Washington County, on Saturday and Sunday. The 112-mile, round-trip excursions will leave the Terminal Station in downtown Macon at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. The trip will take about two hours each way. Tickets are still available for most runs, with remaining tickets ranging from $50 to $60 each. Walk-up tickets could be available outside the Terminal Station for some trips. For more information or to order tickets online, go to the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum site, www.tvrail.com, then "21st Century Steam" on the site.
