A west Macon lounge that was closed after a December shootout left three people dead appears to have been hit by crime again.
On Thursday, a man who works for the Macon company that owns the shuttered Wings Cafe's pool tables went to retrieve two of the tables.
But according to a Bibb County sheriff’s deputy’s report, the tables, worth about $1,500 each, were “nowhere to be found.”
The owner of the tables spoke to the owner of the defunct Bloomfield Drive night spot, but said the owner said “he did not know what happened to the pool tables,” the report stated.
It didn’t appear anyone had broken in, the report went on to say, and deputies were investigating.
Authorities have said the bloodshed at the club happened when two of the city’s rival street gangs clashed there Dec. 12.
