The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two of four suspects who ran from a car after it crashed during a chase Saturday.
According to a release, at about 9 p.m. a deputy attempted to stop a Chevy Malibu on Ga. 87 near mile post 14. The driver tried to flee and the chase ended in Butts County when the driver lost control and wrecked near the intersection of Ga. 87 and McGee Street.
Four people then fled the vehicle. One man and one woman were caught, and two others, both black males, were still on the loose as of 11 p.m. Saturday. Monroe County and Butts County deputies as well as the Georgia State Patrol helicopter were searching for the men late Saturday night.
