The Career Women’s Network is honoring two Women of Achievement on Tuesday as part of Women’s History Month.
The group will recognize Amy Maley and Cyndey Costello Busbee during a luncheon for their achievements and contributions to the advancement of women, their communities and their professions, according to a release from the group.
Maley, a financial planner, is a partner in the McSwain, Young, Maley Group at Merrill Lynch. She is a former president of both the Career Women’s Network and the Rotary Club of Downtown Macon. She has served on several nonprofit boards, sharing her expertise
to help the organizations succeed.
Busbee has been with Central Georgia Health System for 12 years and is the assistant vice president for corporate communications and business development. She is a graduate of Leadership Macon and Leadership Georgia, is chairwoman of the Economic Development Committee for the Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Central Georgia Boy Scout Council and Grand Opera House board. She also just completed a term as Cherry Blossom Festival president and trustee.
The luncheon is scheduled for 11:45 a.m. Tuesday in the ballroom of the Professional Sciences Building and Conference Center at Middle Georgia State College.
