Bibb County deputies arrested a man Saturday after he allegedly tossed Molotov cocktails at a house.
Glentavious Gabriel Lane, 19, of Macon, was charged with four counts of aggravated assault, terrorist threats and a charge related to use of an explosive device.
According to a sheriff’s office release, at about 5:30 a.m. deputies were called to a home on Flamingo Drive where people reported that two males had thrown Molotov cocktails at a house. The device is typically a glass bottle filled with gasoline with a piece of cloth used as an ignition source.
The residents of the house saw the suspects fleeing and extinguished the fire with no one injured. Lane was identified as one of the suspects during the course of the investigation. Investigators believe the suspects and the residents knew each other, the release stated, and the events that led to the incident remain under investigation.
