Georgia Trend’s 2015 list of the 100 Most Influential Georgians is out, and although Atlanta area residents dominate the list, a few Middle Georgians -- or those with midstate ties -- made it:
Larry O’Neal, 65, majority leader of the state House of Representatives since 2010, of Bonaire.
U.S. Sen. David Perdue, 65, of St. Simons, who was born in Macon and grew up in Houston County.
Macon-Bibb County Mayor Robert Reichert, 66, of Macon.
Ninfa Saunders, 62, president and CEO of Navicent Health, of Macon.
Hugh P. Thompson, 71, chief justice of the Georgia Supreme Court, of Milledgeville.
