The Discovery House, an interactive children's museum located within the Museum of Arts and Sciences, reopened Thursday after renovations.
The three-story annex, which opened in 1996, holds treasures and artifacts, including the 40-million-year-old whale fossil Ziggy.
The museum offers dozens of new exhibits and the Scientist's Workshop, on the basement floor, as well as the Artist's Garret on the upper floor.
At the Weather Station, children can present the weather on camera and in front of a green screen.
Never miss a local story.
A giant, rotating star map presents the night sky and a path taken by the moon and planets. Visitors can predict what constellations will appear in Macon's night sky on any given day of the year.
