This interactive map by The Telegraph displays new figures from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis showing how metropolitan statistical areas across Georgia and the rest of the nation have fared. Shades of green show improvement from 2008 to 2011, while shades of red show losses between those years. The palest shades show changes between 0 and 5 percent; a medium shade is between 5 and 10 percent; and the darkest shades show changes above 10 percent.
The gross domestic product numbers are not adjusted for inflation.
