"Wee woo, wee woo," a child yelled as the first police vehicle ushered in the Robins Regional Christmas Parade Saturday in Warner Robins.
A crowd clustered along Watson Boulevard took in the sights and sounds of miniature Shriner cars, floats from local companies and organizations, dancers, cheerleaders, ROTC members and bands. Among officials making an appearance was Warner Robins Mayor Randy Toms.
Throughout the parade, people sitting on blankets and lawn chairs waved and shouted "Merry Christmas."
Adults seemed to enjoy the day as much as anyone, but children were especially expressive; one child called out all of the things he wanted for Christmas as Santa and Mrs. Claus rode by on their sleigh at the end of the parade.
Never miss a local story.
