A workshop to help artists and other creative people learn to use WordPress will be held Wednesday in downtown Macon.
The workshop, to be led by Larry Najera of Najera Design & Marketing, is set for 5:30-7:30 p.m. at The 567 Center for Renewal, 533 Cherry St., according to a news release. Also, Nick Kouloungis, the director of technology services at the Middle Georgia Regional Commission will provide information about WordPress, which he works with every day managing multiple websites. WordPress allows users to create websites or blogs.
By the end of the course, participants should have a basic understanding of the WordPress platform and an overview of how it can help connect entrepreneurs to their clients.
The workshop sponsored by the Macon Arts Alliance is free, but space is limited, and anyone interested should register at www.goo.gl/lmk4Hx. Attendees should bring a laptop with Wi-fi capabilities as well as a notepad and pen.
