The company opened another office in Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1997.
What do you like best about your job?: “To me it’s fun every day to come here and do the (human resources), the marketing ... and helping recruit a new staff. We are happy to be busy again.”
What is your specialty?: “We are commercial land surveyors, and we do the traditional land surveying services, boundary surveys, topographic surveys” and surveys of existing buildings. “We’ve developed commercial expertise in services like precise optical tooling and laser alignment ... of production and manufacturing equipment.
“Another unusual expertise we have is mine training and we do above ground and underground mine surveys.”
What are your future plans?: “We hold professional registration in 12 Southeastern states, and our goal is to expand our staff and expertise. We bought some robotic equipment ... and the robot helps do the survey, makes it quicker and more efficient.”
