Midstate hospitals named to honor roll
Five midstate hospitals have been named to the Georgia Hospital Association’s Partnership for Health and Accountability Core Measures Honor Roll.
Coliseum Medical Centers in Macon and Fairview Park Hospital in Dublin were two of 30 hospitals in the chairman’s category. Also Coliseum Northside Hospital in Macon is one of 26 hospitals in the trustee category.
The Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon and Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins are two of 18 hospitals in Georgia to be placed in the presidential category.

The honor roll is based on clinical data provided by the federal Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services, which administers the nation’s Medicare and Medicaid programs. The data was collected from January 2013 to December 2013.
Skipper on Georgia Farm Bureau committee
Bibb County Farm Bureau Vice President Neil Skipper of Macon is serving on the Georgia Farm Bureau Soybean Committee for 2014. The 10-member committee is made up of soybean farmers from around Georgia. Skipper’s family farm was honored as a Centennial Farm in 2012.
Warren Associates wins awards for safety
Warren Associates Inc., a Macon commercial building contractor, received two safety excellence awards from the Associated General Contractors of Georgia.
The company received a certificate of commendation for a zero incident rate in 2013. The award was in the category of 50,000 work hours and more.
The company was also awarded a certificate of commendation for safety excellence in 2013 which recognizes its record of no lost time accidents during the year.
Robins Federal announces employees of quarter
Robins Federal Credit Union selected four employees that represent the best of the best in the categories of manager, support department staff and branch staff for the second quarter.
The employees, who are selected by management based on work performance and written recommendations are:
Julie Mixon, manager of Robins Federal’s Riverside branch; Kim Young, manager of the operations and processing departments;
Cassie Rozier, a risk management specialist in the risk management department; and Mitchell Fowler, a member service representative for Robins Federal’s Watson branch.
ASP Franchising VP relocates
Kevin Noggle, vice president of technical operations for ASP Franchising LLC, has relocated and will now be working full-time from the company’s Macon office.
Noggle has held this position since January 2012.
Noggle assists in the initial pool school training for each new franchisee, the day-to-day support for the franchisees and helping franchisees to locate products or contractors.
Relocating allows Noggle to participate in the initial training of new franchisees and as well as the support offered to existing franchisees.
Vanderhoek new leader at Komen Central Georgia
Jill Vanderhoek was named the executive director of Susan G. Komen Central Georgia.
Vanderhoek brings experience in marketing, community development, sales and volunteer management to the position.
Prior to her role with Komen, she spent three years as house manager for The Grand Opera House, the performing arts center of Mercer University.
Vanderhoek co-founded Friends of Tattnall Square Park.
She was also a volunteer event coordinator for the Beall’s Hill Community Garden at Centenary and Macon Roots, a sustainable food nonprofit
